Autism Expo 2024 And Life After High School Resource Fair Sponsorship Opportunities
Join Us in Supporting the Autism and the I/DD Community at the Autism Expo 2024 and Life after High School Resource Fair
As we approach the Autism Expo 2024, scheduled for April 14th from Noon to 3 PM at the Saratoga City Center, I wanted to share some exciting developments and an opportunity for collaboration. For over a decade, this expo has been a cornerstone event for the Capital District, drawing in approximately 1,000 attendees each year in search of resources, support, and community for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
This year, we faced a significant hurdle when Saratoga Bridges, our usual lead organizer, encountered staffing challenges. Recognizing the critical importance of this event, The Arc Lexington, in collaboration with our Transitions program, has proudly stepped up to partner with Saratoga Bridges. Our goal is to ensure this essential resource continues to support our community effectively.
In 2024, we’re excited to enhance the expo with a broader array of offerings, including specialized resources focused on life beyond high school for students with learning differences, including autism, Down syndrome and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. This addition aims to provide targeted support and guidance for young adults navigating their transition into adulthood. Coupled with enriching educational presentations by Drs. Gina Cosgrove and Priya Winston, interactive sessions with Flame, and a dedicated sensory space by Maria College’s Occupational Therapy department, this year’s expo promises to be more impactful than ever.
To achieve our vision and make the Autism Expo 2024 a resounding success, we’re reaching out to community leaders and organizations for support.
