Corporate Compliance

As a not-for-profit human services organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities, Lexington, a chapter of The Arc New York, is committed to complying with the rules and regulations of federal, state and local government, including but not limited to those promulgated by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (“CMS”) and the New York State Office of Persons with Developmental Disabilities (“OPWDD”).

Lexington seeks to provide a work environment where high standards of ethical and legal behavior are recognized and practiced. Employees must comply with Lexington’s governing body rules, regulations and policies and procedures, Lexington’s Corporate Compliance Program, which includes a Code of Conduct applicable to all employees and the Justice Center’s Code of Conduct (Pledge) for Custodians of People with Special Needs. Each employee is required to review and be trained on the Compliance Code of Conduct and the Justice Center’s Code of Conduct and comply with the Corporate Compliance Program. It is important that necessary guidance be obtained. If you have a Compliance issue to report, Lexington has several ways for you to communicate your concern:
