Lexington Foundation’s 2023 Night Out Gala to Highlight Living Life Without Limits
Event at Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts will also benefit Elmore Scholarship Fund
Gloversville, NY – The Lexington Foundation’s annual Night Out gala will pay homage to the west as the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts gets transformed into a Montana Ranch on Friday, September 22, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at its location at 2736 State Highway 30, Gloversville.
This year’s Night Out will benefit the Arc Lexington’s Living Life without Limits Adaptive Sports Program and Transitions’ Elmore Scholarship Fund.
Living Life Without Limits (L3) Adaptive Sports Program helps people with developmental and/or physical disabilities have experiences they never thought were possible, including but not limited to, snow and water skiing, rock climbing, zip lining, archery, sailing, golf, martial arts, hunting, ice and roller skating, kayaking, horseback riding and more. The sky is the limit when it comes to making experiences indoors, outdoors, both physically and emotionally possible and life changing. At the gala, conceptual plans will be unveiled on how the L3 program will be expanded in the future to provide more opportunities and reduce barriers for people to have fun, explore and be active in the world.
The event will also raise funds for the Elmore Scholarship Fund which provides additional opportunities for students in Transitions, a post secondary program supporting teens and young adults with autism and other learning differences that is co-located with the Nigra Arts Center.
“Living Life with Limits is an important program at the Arc Lexington and we want to share it with our guests who may not know that such services are possible here in upstate New York,” said Shaloni Winston, CEO of the Arc Lexington and founder of Transitions. “This event always proves to be an unforgettable night of unique fun and community involvement. We hope that you will join us to celebrate everything we have accomplished over the past year and learn what we hope to accomplish in the future.”
Inspired by the popular television show Yellowstone, the 2023 gala will immerse guests into the world of the west with themed food, specialty cocktails, raffles and silent auction items. Other activities and attractions will include line dancing, bull riding, roping and other immersive entertainment. The event is open to the public.
Individual tickets for the Night Out are $100. Young professionals under the age of 40 can purchase tickets for $75. Tables for 10 and VIP packages are also available. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their best western attire.
